2014 a Year in Review

As I sit here madly in love with 2015 already, I cannot help but long for the memories of 2014. 2014 brought me the best memories of my life, and as ready as I am to welcome a new year I would like to take a post to review the past.

January, bridesmaid dress shopping with the most amazing women.

February, deserves many photos! February I read our engagement announcement in the local newspaper, I watched a family embrace their standing son for the first time since November 2012, and we were able to take standing engament photos.

March, between a visit from two of my besties, and my church bridal shower it was an incredible month. I picked out my viel, and celebrated Kaleb and I's future with the same church family that has supported me my entire life!

April, I began my job at Moji a bang salon, I celebrated my Mom's 40th birthday, and I experienced an amazing photo shoot that would later be the most perfect gift for my future husband.

May, was a busy one! With only a month until the wedding I felt like I was losing my mind most of the time. But on May 24 we spent the day laughing, loving, and celebrating. As my best friend, and maid of honor hosted the most amazing bridal shower.

June, We said I Do!

July, we participated in the Victory Over Paralysis walk a thon. We enjoyed many visits from the bestie, and my amazing family.

August, we watched two amazing friends say I do! Congratulations again Mr. And Mrs. Dugan! My amazing husband also wrapped up his journey with the NRN, neuro recovery network, after 200 sessions!

September, we disneymooned! We experienced the most magical trip together in the happiest place on earth!

October, Kaleb was able to experience one of my most favorite events, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. That very same trip we took a little visit to off Broadway and saw wicked!

November, we celebrated thanksgiving with the Kaleb's amazing family, and my first holiday with the Wilson's as a Wilson.

December, was enchanting! We went home and celebrated Christmas with my family, which was perfect. But even more than that we celebrated our first Christmas has husband and wife. My sweet brother in law proposed to his sweet girlfriend, and her precious daughter.

Thank you 2014 for being so very memorable, wonderful, and perfect!

Cheers to 2015!

Top 10 Tips for Flying with an Infant

Last week we spent the entire week in Cincinnati for the national veterans wheelchair games, which was probably one of the most incredible experiences of my life, but we will save that for a different post. We met great people, had wonderful conversation, and took our sweet girl on her first airplane ride. Being the crazy mom that I am, I stressed about the plane ride for far to long and made way to many mental notes on how to survive it. I asked everyone who had ever flown with a child what to do and received some great advice. My goal is to break it down into the top 10 things you "need" in order to survive flying with a baby! 1. Plastic Bags are Your Friend Prior to heading out to the airport I separated Ellie's diaper back with gallon size baggies. I had all her diapers and wipes packed in one, toys in another, and food in it's own. It made fast diaper changes before take off a breeze, as well as finding snacks in the air. Everything had its place an...

Nine Months

My Sweet Eloise Jeanne, Month nine has come and gone and mama has been the worst at putting this together. Has with every month this one has been equally busy and equally different. I find myself smelling your sweet baby scent as it becomes fainter. I hold you nightly after you have fallen asleep staring at your sweet tiny face. This month I feel that we said goodbye to my baby baby and began welcoming our soon to be toddler. Your personality has come out in force, you know what you want and will do whatever it takes to get it. You are determined and strong willed, both qualities that I know will take you far in the future. I miss my baby baby but love playing with my new toddler girl. This month was a huge month for mobility. We went from not really being able to move at all to moving constantly. On July 25th you began trying to army crawl and can successfully get yourself from one place to another. On Friday,...
